A bit of fondue on the weekend

Winter means fondue time in Switzerland! It's such a nice feeling waking up and just having that feeling that it snowed. And when checking out the window, all it white. I also decided to play around a bit with photo editing... When the cold is here, i'm a little more reluctant to go out outside. So staying in with a a cup of tea in the warm editing photos, didn't seem to bad.

Lookbook in Amsterdam

So this post is a bit late, but I stumbled upon photos from Amsterdam and realized I completely forgot to post this look! Despite the windy weather, I could still wear my favorite burgundy skirt. It was beautiful roaming around the city's streets and between its canals... We literally wandered, floating around this windy and cold, beautifully lit city.

Travel: Amsterdam for the Cannabis Cup!

This was indeed a very well needed 5-day weekend. The weeks at uni were getting longer and motivation was low... But Amsterdam was coming up!
Along with few friends we decided to fly to Amsterdam for a long weekend. We rented a cozy 3 bedroom apartment that hosted 10 people, located right on Harlemmerstraat (7mins walk to Amsterdam Centraal station), which made it super convenient for us.

What's there to do in Amsterdam?

Well, everyone knows about Amsterdam's infamous CoffeeShops. Where, you will be able to fine, not only some very fine cannabis but also the best munchies! You can be sure to find at least the following in every single coffee shop:

• smoothies
• milkshakes
• pancakes
• cheese toasties!
• fresh mint tea
• regular teas
• hot/cold chocolate milk

and the list goes on!

The best thing about these coffee shops, they know sell alcohol. So you're sure to be around some very very chilled people. ^^

Zoo Party

Hello everyone! Exams are now long gone and Christmas break is around the corner. Here's what was down this weekend: Zoo party! With little time on our sleeves, we just took anything with some sort of animal print to create our 'animal' costumes. Ana and I stopped by Emi's room for a bit of champagne before getting started with the party. Leopard prints were all over the place that night...

Studious Sundays

Happy Sunday everyone! Exams are finally here and today's the last day we've got before they start! I can't wait to get over them and just relax! I miss having the time to flip through a magazine not feeling guilty about not studying or always having to catch up on 'readings' all the times... I'll have time to go to town, DIY and just chillllaaaaxx!

So, currently redecorating my room at the moment. Last week was quite loaded in terms of work. But now that everything's handed in and off the task-list, I finally got the time to chill... Anyways, with all this time off, I've had plenty of time to browse through my tumblr again!

Burrr! The past few days have been getting colder. But this means my trench coats, boots and beanies can finally come out of the closet after 6months in Barcelona! The pictures below were taken on my way back from group work at school. The work load we're getting is getting heavier...

Floral obsession

I know autumn's over but i'm getting quite obsessed with floral at the moment. I've got quite a few items in my shopping cart :/ I'm starting to get impatient waiting for the parcel haha. I'm in love with these statement items. I got the blazer on the right. And under is just a selection of BAZAAR covers (my current favourite magazine).

Camel skin backpack

Drove back to Barcelona for a few days and I finally got myself this bag I've been eyeing for about a year now! It's super light since it isn't leather but camel skin. The lady wasn't quite sure where the back came from when I asked but from around and about Morocco. It smells so nice! Reminds me of the desert, dunes and souq markets from my trip to Oman.

Appenzell: Brockenhaus

I stopped at a 'Brockenhaus' the other day in my boyfriend's home town (Appenzell) I'll never say no to thrift shops! Can never resist. I found a really sweet black leather bag for only four francs!! (the equivalent of 4USD!)

Next stop: York University

So here we are road tripping around Canada looking for my sister's Uni. We got to visit the University of Toronto, York University, McGill and Concordia. These were taken in York, a very green place! And of course, I decided to bring my combat boots along with me! Love these babies x

Bohemian Summer

My mom's in Barcelona and we've done quite a few sight seeing (something I haven't done since I got here!). We went to visit the Montjuic castle, which was so beautiful! and the view breath taking! I wore a new shirt I got during REBAJAS! (sales!), which I love! It's so thin and perfect for Barcelona's hot desert-y weather.
